Welcome to Decidest ("Decidest"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our websites and services, including decidest.com and the Decidest app at app.decidest.com (together, the "Service"). By using Decidest, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use our service.
1. Use of the Service
You must be at least 18 years old to use Decidest. Decidest is a workspace for tracking product decisions, experiments, and outcomes — not a consumer social network, and not a service for children.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate account information
- Use the service only for lawful purposes
- Not reverse engineer, modify, or attempt to extract source code
2. Account and Data Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You agree to:
- Immediately notify us of unauthorized access
- Not share your credentials with others
If you create or administer a workspace, you are responsible for the people you invite into it and for the content they add.
3. Workspaces and Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to Decidest, including tickets, comments, labels, evidence, metric definitions, and other workspace data ("Your Content").
You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, and otherwise use Your Content solely as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.
You represent that you have all rights needed to submit Your Content and to let us process it as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
How we collect and protect personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Connected Data Sources
Some features let you connect third-party accounts, currently including Google Analytics. If you connect a source, you represent that you have the authority to grant Decidest that access, and that doing so does not violate the provider’s terms or any confidentiality obligation.
Imported data is treated as Your Content. We do not guarantee that third-party data is complete, current, or accurate. You may disconnect a source at any time from workspace settings.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use Decidest to:
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Violate laws or third-party rights
- Interfere with our systems or networks
- Access another workspace or account without authorization
- Upload malware or attempt to extract data through automated scraping without our written permission
6. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Imports, reports, and syncs may be delayed or unavailable if a connected provider has an outage. We may modify or discontinue the service at any time.
7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property related to Decidest, including software, design, and trademarks, are owned by us or our licensors. Using the Service does not give you ownership of those materials.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Decidest is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties. The Service helps you record decisions and compare evidence; it does not make decisions for you, and it is not professional, legal, or financial advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, revenue, or profits
- Decisions you make based on workspace content or imported analytics
- Errors, gaps, or delays in third-party data sources
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using Decidest at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, contact us at the email below.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and applicable U.S. federal laws, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
